| We're at university together a writing page Why can't I just give birth to a two year-old? It started off as a joke in my head, but now it's become a full-blown mantra. Every time someone asks me when I'm going to have kids, which is probably every other day now – well, I've been married almost a year, what else am I doing? – my cunning response is to divert their attention by talking about toddlers and how I wish I could skip to that bit.
